Day 1: ARRIVE KOLKATA
Met on arrival and escorted to your hotel (Most international flights arrive in Kolkata very early in the morning. Room will be protected from the previous day for immediate occupancy).

Afternoon to explore historic Kolkata, one-time capital of the British.  Visits to Hooghly River harbor, Mother Teresa’s House and Victoria Memorial.

Day 2: FLY TO BAGDOGRA AND DRIVE TO GANGTOK
Fly to Bagdogra.  If weather permitting, we will have grand views of the Himalayan giants Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and Kanchenjunga.  Upon arrival scenic mountain drive into the kingdom of Sikkim.

Day 3: DAY IN GANGTOK
Gangtok was the capital city of the former independent kingdom of Sikkim, ruled by the Buddhist Chogyal Dynasty, until its incorporation into India in 1975.  Today we will visits to Enchey and Rumtek Monasteries.

Day 4: \DRIVE TO PEMAYANGTSE
An early morning departure after breakfast we will drive to Pemayangtse Gompa and will reach by lunch.  One of the state’s oldest and most significant Gompas, its name literally means “Perfect Sublime Lotus.”  Pemayangtse celebrates Losar (Tibetan New Year) with impressive chaam dances.

Day 5: DRIVE TO DARJEELING
Today after breakfast another scenic mountain drive to reach the iconic British Raj-era and hill station of Darjeeling.

Day 6: DAY IN DARJEELING
Wake up to catch the spectacular sunrise (Subject to weather permitting) from Tiger Hill over the Himalayan horizon including Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Kabru and Janu.  Also visit a tea estate and the Tenzing Norgay Himalayan Mountaineering Institute.

Day 7: DRIVE TO BAGDOGRA FOR FLIGHT TO KOLKATA & ONWARD
Today we make the return drive to Bagdogra to catch our flight to Kolkata.  Arrive Kolkata and room protected for day use / Late checkout till 6:00 p.m. at the hotel.  Transfers to international airport for outbound flight after an early dinner.
