The Pushkar Fair, is the annual camel and livestock fair, held in the town of Pushkar in the state of Rajasthan, India. It is one of the world's largest camel fairs, and it has become an important tourist attraction and its highlights have become competitions such as the "matkaphod", "longest moustache", and "bridal competition" are the main draws for this fair which attracts thousands of tourists. A camel race starts off the festival, with music, songs and exhibitions to follow.

Detailed Tour Itinerary

Day 01 : Delhi Arrival

Upon arrival at Delhi international airport, our company representative will meet & assist you with traditional welcome and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Rest of the day free & easy for own activities and acclimatization with Indian weather conditions.

Day 02 : Delhi – Full day tour

Proceed for a full day guided tour in Delhi starting with Old Delhi visiting Raj Ghat- the memorial of Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid - the biggest mosque in India. Enjoy rickshaw ride at Chandini chowk . Later drive past through Red Fort – A red sandstone fort by Mughal emperor Shahjahan.

Afternoon continue the tour of Delhi visiting the New Delhi; Start the tour with a stop at India Gate – a war memorial built in the memory of thousands of British India army killed during First World. Continue the tour driving past Presidents house and Parliament house. Visit to Humayun's Tomb - a UNESCO World Heritage site, and Qutub Minar a 73 meter tall tower built in the year 1192AD.

Day 03 : Delhi – Udaipur (By Flight)

Post breakfast; transfer to Delhi airport to board the flight to Udaipur; also known as the "City of Lakes". Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and rest of the day free for won activities.

Optional: Optional visit can be arranged to Nathdwara Temple or Chittaurgarh Fort.

Day 04 : Udaipur – Full day tour

Proceed for a guided tour of Udaipur – the city of lakes, forts and magnificent hotels. The tour starts with the visit to City Palace, a palace complex build over a period of 400 years. Also visit Sahelionki Bari, a garden designed for Royal ladies to spend their leisure time. and Jagdish Temple; the Indo-Aryan Temple and one of the famous temples in Udaipur. the temples had over 500 years of history.

As Udaipur is known as city of lakes , one must enjoy the beauty of lakes with a relaxing boat ride at Lake Pichhola an artificial lake.

Day 05 : Udaipur – Jodhpur via Ranakpur (260 kms. / 05 hours drive)

Post breakfast; check-out from the hotel and drive to Jodhpur; yet another beautiful city in Rajasthan state. Jodhpur; founded by the Rajput chief Rao Jodha in 1459. En-route visit to Ranakpur Jain Temples and further continue to Jodhpur.Upon arrival; check-in to the hotel and rest of the day free at leisure.

Day 06 : Jodhpur – Pushkar (186 Kms. / 05 hours)

Post breakfast; leave for a half day guided tour in Jodhpur visiting Mehrangarh Fort, Fort Museum and Jaswant Thada.

Afternoon; drive to Pushkar; the holy Hindu city known for its Lake and Lord Brahma's Temple. Upon arrival; check-in to the hotel.

Day 08 : Pushkar – Jaipur (180 kms. / 03 hours drive)

Morning post breakfast; proceed for a half day guided tour visiting Lord Brahma's Temple and Holy Pushkar Lake. Afternoon; drive to Jaipur; the capital city of Rajasthan State and also known as the "Pink City". Upon arrival Jaipur; check-in to the hotel and rest of the day free & easy for own activities.

Optional: Optional tour can be arranged for Samode Village Excursion or ChokhiDhani Village Excursion.

Day 09 : Jaipur – Full day tour

Leave for an excursion to Amber Fort – a huge fort complex located on a hilltop. Enjoy the Elephant ride to ascend the Amber fort. The fort consists of Diwan - e – Aam, Diwan – e – Khas, Sheesh Mahal and Suck Niwas. After visiting Amber fort, visit to a traditional Rajasthani Handicraft & handloom factory to see the craftsmen performing.

Afternoon; visit to City Palace – the royal palace for the Maharaja of Jaipur. The palace houses a great museum and Jantar Mantar – a astronomical observatory built in 1734 AD. It has the world's largest Sundial. Before returning your hotel; a short stop in front Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) for photo shoot.

Day 10 : Jaipur – Agra via Fathehpur Sikri (240 kms. / 05 hours drive)

Post breakfast; check-out from the hotel and drive to Agra; the city of Taj Mahal. On the way stop at Fathepur Sikri to visit BulandDarwaza, Diwan-e-aam and Diwane-e-Khas. Further continue to Agra.

Upon arrival in Agra; check-in to the hotel and later for the city tour of Agra. Visit the one of the seven wonders of world, The famous Taj Mahal…. The grace of perfection of proportions and grandeur of geometrical patterns of well-appointed gardens enhancing the poise of the whole complex together add magnificence to the delicacy of this adorable monument of love, dedication and purity, 'The Taj'!

Continue to visit another UNESCO heritage monument, the famous Agra fort. This powerful fortress of red sandstone encompasses, within its 2.5-km-long enclosure walls, the imperial city of the Mughal rulers. It is one of the most important and robustly built stronghold of the Mughals, embellished with number of richly decorated buildings encompassing the imposing Mughal style of art and architecture.

Day 11 : Agra – Delhi (220 kms. / 04 hours drive)

Post breakfast; check-out from the hotel and drive straight to Delhi international airport to board the flight to onward journey.
