Detailed Tour Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrive Mumbai

Upon arrival, meet & assist by our company representative and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure for own activities and relax in the hotel.

Day 02 : Mumbai – Sightseeing

Post breakfast; we take the boat cruise from Gateway of India to visit Elephanta Caves, houses rock cut temples dating back to 5th century CE. It was named by the Portuguese, after the statue of an elephant near the landing area of the island.

Return and proceed for a guided tour in Mumbai visiting Gateway of India, the entrance to the port of Mumbai. Later We also drive through the Marine Drive, which runs along the shore of the Arabian Sea from Nariman Point past Chowpatty Beach to the foot of Malabar Hill. Also visit Mani bhavan a museum dedicated to Gandhi, the father of Indian independence movement.

Day 03 : Mumbai – Ahmedabad (By Flight)

After breakfast, transfer to Mumbai airport to board the flight to Ahmedabad; located on the banks of the River Sabarmati. The city was founded in 1411 to serve as the capital of the Sultanate of Gujarat, by its namesake, Sultan Ahmed Shah. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and later proceed for a half day tour visiting Mosques, Jumma Masjid and Sidi Syed Mosque.

Day 04 : Ahmedabad – Sightseeing

Post breakfast; proceed for a guided tour in Ahmadabad visiting Jama masjid – built in 1423. Built of yellow sandstone in an architectural style, that combines the best of Muslim & Hindu traditions. Later visit Teen Darwaja; The triple-arched gateway was built by Sultan Ahmed Shah to serve as the royal entrance to the Maidan Shahi or the Royal Square. Also visit to Siddi Saiyyed Mosque; celebrated the world over for its exquisite stone window tracery – a superb & peerless example of delicate carving that transforms stone into filigree. Also visit Gandhi Ashram; on a quiet peaceful stretch of the Sabarmati River, Mahatma Gandhi set up a simple retreat in 1915. Visit night handicraft market at Law Garden.

Day 05 : Ahmedabad – Jamnagar (300 kms. / 06 hours drive)

After breakfast, drive to Jamnagar, built by Maharaja Kumar Shri Ranjit Singhji in the 1920s, when the district was known as Nawanagar. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and later day free at leisure for own activities.

Day 06 : Jamnagar – Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour in Jamnagar visiting Jain temples: Vardhman Shah's Temple, Raisi Shah's Temple, Sheth's Temple, & Vasupujya Swami's Temple. All were built between 1574 & 1622. Also known as the Jewel of Kathiawar.

Day 07 : Jamnagar – Dwarka (130kms. / 03 hours drive)

After breakfast, drive to Dwarka; the dwelling place of Krishna. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and later in the afternoon visit the Dwarkadhish or Lord of Dwaraka – Krishna Temple. The original temple was constructed thousand years ago. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at Dwarka hotel.

Day 08 : Dwarka – Junagarh (210 kms. / 04 hours drive)

After breakfast, drive to Junagarh; located at the foothills of the sacred hill of Girnar & occupies a special place in the history of Gujarat.Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and later in the afternoon, proceed for a half day guided tour in Junagarh visiting Uparkot Fort one of the oldest forts India, Ashoka's Rock Edicts and Damodar Kund. Overnight at Junagarh hotel.

Day 09 : Junagarh – Sasan Gir (100 kms. / 2.5 hours drive)

After breakfast, drive to Sasangir; sole home of the pure Asiatic Lions (Panthera leo persica). Upon arrival, check-in to the jungle resort. And Afternoon proceed for a Jeep safari to the National Park.

Day 10 : Sasan Gir – Somnath (75 kms. / 2 hours drive)

Early morning enjoy 1 more jeep safari to the National Park and later return back to the hotel and you're your breakfast. Afternoon, drive to Somnath; located on the western coast of Gujarat. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and later day free for Pooja and Darshan.

Day 11 : Somnath – Diu (75 Kms. / 02 hours drive)

After breakfast, drive to Diu; an island lying off the south coast of Gujarat. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and later in the afternoon enjoy the half day guided tour in Diu visiting Battlement of Diu Fort, St. Paul's&St.Thomas' Churches.

Day 12 : Diu – Bhavnagar via Palitana (210 kms. / 05 hours drive)

After breakfast drive to Bhavnagar. En-route visit to Palitana; a city & former princely state is a major pilgrimage center for Jains. The Palitana temples are considered the most sacred pilgrimage place (tirtha) by the Jain community. There are 3500 steps to be climbed. After the visit continue to Bhavnagar. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel. Overnight at Bhavnagar hotel.

Day 13 : Bhavnagar – Sightseeing

Optional Morning proceed to Velavadar Blackbuck sanctuary (48 kms 1.5 hrs each way from Bhavnagar)

Proceed for a sightseeing tour in Bhavnagar visiting Khodiyar Mata, Gandhi Smriti Overnight at Bhavnagar hotel.

Day 14 : Bhavnagar – Mumbai (By Flight)

Post breakfast; on time transfer to Bhavnagar airport to board the flight to Mumbai. From Mumbai board connecting flight to onward journey.
