Detailed Tour Itinerary

Day 01 : Coimbatore - Ooty (90 Kms/ 3.5 hrs)

On arrival our representative will receive you from Airport / Railway station at Coimbatore and transfer to Ooty. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel. An evening sightseeing of the Ooty Lake and leisure for own activities.

Day 02 : Ooty

Today after breakfast proceed on a sightseeing trip of Ooty. The Botanical Gardens, the Dodabetta Peak, Ooty Lake, The Rose Garden, Lamb's Rock etc are covered in this trip.

Day 03 : Ooty - Palani ( 198 kms/ 4.5 hrs)

Morning after a breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Palani, Upon arrival check in to hotel and proceed for a half day sightseeing in & around Palani which includes a Visit to Palani murugan temple.

Day 04 : Palani - Madurai (130 kms/2.5 hrs)

Morning after a breakfast check out from the hotel and proeed to Madurai. Upon arrival check in at hotel freshen up and evening go for Darshan at Meenakshi temple and visit Thirumalanayak Palace for light and sound show

Day 05 : Madurai – Rameshwaram - Madurai (Both way 380 kms)

Morning after a breakfast proceed to Rameshwaram same day trip ,visit to Ramanathaswamy Temple , Kothandaraswamy Temple, Dhanushkodi & Adam's Bridge.Evening return on time to hotel at Madurai

Day 06 : Madurai - Trichy (150 kms/3.3 hrs)

Morning after breakfast we drive to Trichy, check in to hotel and proceed for a half day sightseeing In the afternoon visiting Rock Fort Temple. The Rock Fort situated on the banks of the Kaveri river, Trichy's most famed land mark is an 84 metre high rock, and it's one of the oldest in the world aprox.3,800 million years. The attraction is not for fort itself but the temple at the summit. 344 steps hewn out of rock lead to the top where the inscriptions dating back to the 3rd century B.C. and also visiting Jammbukeswara temple ,Mariamman Temple,Sri Ragna Swami Temple etc.

Day 07 : Trichy - Tanjore (65 Kms/ 1.3 hrs)

After breakfast proceed to Tanjore where you can visit Bragatheeswara temple which has been the chief political literacy and religious center of South India.The famous world Heritage monument of the most famous land Marks of Tanjore is the Bragatheeswara Temple, built in at the beginning of the 12th century by the greatest Chola emperor Raja Raja Chola, after a memorable sightseeing

Day 08 : Tanjore - Swamimalai - Darasuram - Thimmakkudy - Tanjore (178 Kms)

Morning after breakfast proceed for a full day sightseeing covering Swamimalai, Darshan at Murugan temple and afterwards visit Darasuram Airasatheswara Temple and Thimmakudi . Evening return to hotel

Day 09 : Tanjore - Gangaikonda Cholapuram - Chidambaram - Pondichery (214 kms)

After breakfast proceed to Chidambaram, en-route visit Gangaikonda cholapuram temple. Upon arrival at Chidambaram visit Nataraja temple, Thillaikali amman temple and evening proceed to Pondichery. Upon arrival check in at Hotel.

Day 10 : Pondichery

Morning after breakfast at hotel then proceed for a full day sightseeing in & around Pondichery which includes, Visit to Aurbindo Ashram, the city of dawn, which is 11km north of Pondicherry. This ashram promotes Aurbindo's ideas in bringing about a synthesis of Yoga and modern science, so as to unite the spirit and matter also visit Aaayi Mandapam, Ananda Ranga pillai Museum, Botanical Garden, Nehru Toy Museum,Puduchery Museum, Roman Rolland Library and Chunnambar Backwater.

Day 11 : Pondichery - Kanchipuram -Mahabalipuram (160 Kms)

After breakfast drive to Kanchipuram which is 71 Km away, "Golden town of a Thousands Temples" and one of the 7 sacred Hindu cities in India whose temples date back to the 7th and 8th centuries.Kanchipuram is the ancient capital of the Pallavas famous as a city of 1000 Temples and still has 124 shrines. It is also famous for its silks. Later drive to Mahabalipuram. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel.

Day 12 : Mahabalipuram - Sightseeing

Morning after breakfast proceed for local sightseeing in & around Mahabalipuram covering Visit to Arjunas penance-Arjuna's Penance is 27 metres long and 9 metres high bas-relief believed to be the world's largest bas-relief.Five Rathas-The famous Rathas or Chariots are situated at the southern extreme of Mahabalipuram, Known as the Pancha Pandava Rathas, after the five characters of Mahabharata, four of them are carved out of a single rock;Caves-The Varaha Cave shows two incarnations of Vishnu-Varaha (boar) and Vamana (dwarf) along with four panels of the famous Pallava doorkeepers in contemplative reverie. It is the lyrical softness and grace of these supposed to be macho-guards that make them attract the attention of the tourists.KrishnaMandapam-One of the earliest rock-cut temples of Mahabalipuram, its walls depict scenes of Krishna's pastoral life. One of them depicts Krishna lifting the Govardhan Parvat on his little finger to protect his people from wrath of the Rain God, Indra.

Morning after breakfast check- out from the hotel and proceed to Tiruvannamalai. Upon arrival check in at hotel and freshen up evening free for leisure. Evening darshan at Siva Temple.

Day 14 : Tiruvannamalai - sightseeing

After breakfast we will take you for a local sightseeing covering visit to Arunachaleswar Temple, It's the main highlight of travelling to Tiruvannamalai. Arunachaleswar temple is one of the biggest and grandest temples in South India, the other well known ashram in Tiruvannamalai is Sri Seshadri Swamigal Ashram. The ashram is located near the Ramana Ashram, one of the beautiful places in Tiruvannamalai come back on time

Day 15 : Tiruvannamalai - Chennai (195 Kms/ 4.3 hrs)

Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel drive to Chennai, upon arrival check in at hotel. Later go on a sightseeing of Chennai City visiting, Kapaleshwara Temple, Sree Parthasarathy Temple, Govt. Museum, National Art and evening leisure activities at Marina Beach.

Morning after breakfast day at leisure, later we will pick up from Hotel and transfer you to Chennai Airport / Railway station.
